Explore BTL activationsWe built a platform to turn event data into better engagement, greater efficiency and measurable business outcomes. effyEvent is built by effyBiz, and this is the story of how it came about.
effyBiz began by building tools that help companies personalise, share and track their sales content, and manage the partners and channels who sell for them.
Much of that work has been with manufacturers who sell through dealer and retailer networks, in agri-inputs, building materials, FMCG and related industries.
From the effyBiz product suite at effybiz.com
A seeds company wins farmers at a crop demonstration. A waterproofing brand wins contractors at a dealer meet. A manufacturer meets its next distributor at a trade show.
As we built engagement programmes for these teams, we kept ending up at their events.
Every event produced data: names, numbers, attendance. Very little of it was used after the event.
How many people actually came?
Who were they, and which of our people met them?
Did they agree to hear from us again?
What were they interested in, and who should we call first?
Did the event lead to any business?
What happened to that data:
Personalised content, sharing with tracking, and WhatsApp messaging were already part of what we built. effyEvent connects them to event data, from the moment a visitor checks in.
Each visitor gets content matched to their interests, and a thank-you from the person they met, through channels they agreed to.
QR and WhatsApp check-in, card scanning and live dashboards replace paper registers and re-typing.
Every visitor tracked from attendance to engagement, leads, meetings and follow-up.

Every visitor chooses to hear from you, and that choice is on record.
Each visitor gets what they cared about, from the person they actually met.
Every event should end with numbers you can act on, not a stack of paper.
We'll show you what it could look like with effyEvent.
